This question comes to everyone who wants to keep healthy but doesn’t want to work out in the gyms. The general question people ask that “I work from 9 am to 5 pm, and I don’t have time to go to the gym. So how can I stay fit as long as I can? Well, the answer is simple.
To stay fit without a gym, I want to clear that gym is not essential to keep fit. But, physical activity is significant. The physical activity like sports, Running, Walking, Swimming or gym. That’s all are your choice. But, the problem is people have no time to play sports. They don’t have enough time for walking or running. And after that, they say that I want to stay fit. Boss, this is not done at all.
Here are the top 5 ways to stay fit without a gym
1. Stop taking shortcuts
In our day-to-day activities, we have many conveniences; thanks to technology or wherever we’re going, we have many things that help us get to places more quickly and efficiently. Escalators, elevators, trains, buses, cars all these modes of transportation and helping us get to places. But, if you look at it, there’s always the easy way, and there’s the healthy way. The easy way, of course, you can always hop on the elevator, escalator but the result of that is that you’re not getting your exercise, and you’re just stationary.
Instead, To stay fit without a gym replace those things as an opportunity for you to be a little bit more fit every day. So, instead of taking the elevator, take the stairs. If you have the grocery store a department store or get whatever you want, park a little bit further away spur, you can avoid door dings. And second, you can walk a little bit more to the grocery store and don’t miss that kind of little thing. It will give your body a little bit more movement, a bit more activity for you to walk, a little more versus just taking the convenient way.
2. Cutting out junk food and soda
You’ll be surprised at how your body changes once you just simply cut out your junk food and the soda. as you drink on a daily basis with your lunch. Junk food will not make you fat but it also makes your digestion week. If you consume junk food on the daily basis forgot the word “fitness”. Even if you go to the gym daily but eating junk food then also you have to face trouble making muscle or fat loss. If you were to normally grab a Doritos and a can of coke and set maybe replace it with fruits, granola bar, and other kinds of healthy snacks that are gonna help your body and give it the essential nutrients it needs. and also at the same time, it fills you up.
Instead of drinking soda, drink water. Our body is 65% made of water. It is so crucial for us to stay hydrated and keep our bodies intact. But we for some reason always forget or we get tempted to drink that can of coke or they can of sprite or coca-cola whatever our favorite beverages are. Drinking less water also makes a high rise in diabetes, heart disease. lung disease and a lot more. So, it is important to drink at least 2 – 2.5 liters of water every day so that our body is pretty much hydrated.
3. Walk or use cycle instead of driving or riding a bike
Again going into 2020, we have a lot of options for transportation. Driving, Lyft, Uber, Taxi, Trains, Buses. If that kind of stuff also builds up and makes you more stationary. So instead, if something is close by like a grocery store that’s like 10 minutes away you might as well just walk the 10 minutes then go 2 minutes in the car. That’s 10 minutes of exercise right there without you even trying and you going for a purpose of what you actually need in which in this case is groceries. And if it’s a little too far, use cycle instead of a bike. These are all small little habits and lifestyle changes that can make us a little bit more healthy a little bit more fit. Get us moving more versus giving in to the daily conveniences that the world has to offer.
4. Stand up every 30 minutes and walk around
The reason why I say that is because in most of our daily lives most of our jobs and our schools require us to sit down do a lot of sit-down focus work. Although sitting down is comfortable, sitting down feels great and it helps you focus and you’re getting a lot of work done. But, it takes a heavy toll on your body, on your spine, on your back and can develop a lot of heavy pain and bad posture over time. Constantly just slouching and sitting down and can have a heavy impact on your body.
So instead a good habit that you want to develop is to try to stand up in a timely manner and just walk around. Walk around increase your activity levels and get your heartbeat up. Just try to move around from time to time that helps you take a break. So, when you come back to your work you’re a little bit more focused. It also keeps your body your posture and your spine and everything intact.
So, that way you’re not developing any types of pain, bad posture, and putting your body through any sort of health risk that you may want to avoid which can help you in the future.
5. Get a hobby that requires physical movement
It can be something like a sport like a soccer, basketball, football, hiking even filmmaking, photography, dancing anything that can get you up and moving. Whatever activity that you’re doing, whatever you’re doing to move around, run around, jump around slouch, sit down, kneel, just walk these things they’re not gonna feel like work or exercise or load on your body. It would just be a natural way to keep you in shape and keep your body moving. that’s gonna be fun and you’re gonna enjoy it Because if you are actually having fun and enjoying it doesn’t feel like it’s a “workout”. n fact you’ll have fun doing that certain activity.
